It's either a great experience or horrible. nothing in-between. first experience was amazing. second good. 3rd couldn't go cause they sent me the address of one restaurant. but the Name of another and didn't respond with the 24 hour time frame to go. this time. I was the only one who showed up. and the bar afterwards allowed smoking inside so couldn't go. Great concept. horrible execution. and noooo humans are available to discuss these issues with.

no effort put in from the app, I went to two events. Both events have 0 details and 0 reservation. It always just says "table 1", when you tell the restaurant that they have no idea what you are talking about. Last restaurant was fully booked, you have no idea if anyone is coming and no way to communicate with anyone. Try a Facebook meetup or something more organized, this is basically a low effort scam. My experience was in Boston.

Not impressed so far, but I paid for a membership so I'll give it more chances. So far it has twice sent me to the same bar in a hotel, most recently next to where a major sporting event was starting at the same time (i.e. difficult to get to, so half the table was late), and most of the people already knew each other, which seems to totally defeat the app's reason for being. And it seems to have ignored my price preferences for dinner.

Venue repetition, price mismatches, and seating with people who already know each other shouldn’t happen, but we are constantly detailing and fixing these mistakes!
